Volunteer With Us

Be Part of the Bridge

Volunteers are the heart of Southwest Bridge Health. Whether you welcome patients, interpret, support clinic operations, or provide clinical care, your time and compassion help uninsured neighbors feel safe, respected, and understood.

Volunteer Roles

Ways to Serve

Every volunteer plays an important part in helping patients feel welcomed, safe, and understood. Whether you are greeting patients, helping with forms, interpreting, supporting clinic flow, or providing licensed clinical care, your time and skills help make free healthcare possible for uninsured neighbors.

Front Office Volunteers

Greet patients, assist with check-in and intake, help confirm basic eligibility, manage forms, and support patient flow.

Interpreter Volunteers

Help patients and clinicians communicate clearly, understand instructions, build trust, and maintain confidentiality.

Clinical Volunteers

Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, allied health professionals, and students can help provide exams, care plans, referrals, medications, testing, and documentation.

How We Work

Team-Based, Compassionate Care

Southwest Bridge Health uses clear workflows, HIPAA-compliant documentation, referral pathways, and team-based care to support patients and volunteers. Volunteers receive orientation and ongoing support so they can serve with confidence.
